Leslie Manookian, founder of Health Freedom Defense Fund, which filed the initial lawsuit against the CDC, discusses the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear an appeal on a case challenging the Transportation Security Administration’s authority to mandate face coverings on public transport in national emergencies. After Manookian took up a case against the Biden administration, which led to a judge stating that the CDC had overstepped its authority with mask mandates, another party went after the TSA on similar grounds. Manookian’s case is still proceeding. Oral arguments for her case will be on January 17th in Miami. The TSA and CDC aren’t currently enforcing mask mandates. Recently, Manookian has helped 3 former Nike employees sue Nike for various discriminations after refusing to take the COVID vaccine. One of the employees took the shot and experienced a severe autoimmune reaction. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
Leslie’s segment starts at 1:10.
