Conversations on Health Freedom with Dr. Antonietta Gatti

Dr. Antonietta discusses her research documenting the frightening impact of nanoparticles on our health.



 Dr. Gatti has a degree in Physics and a PhD in Bioengineering. In 2012 she was honored with an International Fellowship by the world Societies of Biomaterials and Engineering (FSBE). 

At present she is Vice President of the Nanodiagnostics Foundation with a specific mission on the health of babies and is supervisor of the scientific laboratory of the Foundation working with a Field Emission Gun Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope. 

Dr. Gatti is past Professor of Biomaterials at the Faculty of Biosciences and Biotechnologies at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) and director of the Laboratory of Biomaterials. 

She was Appointed Member of the Italian Scientific Committee for Prevention and Control of Diseases in soldiers (CPCM) of the Italian Ministry of Defence and was Consultant of all the Governmental Commissions on Depleted Uranium and related diseases. For that she had 2 recommendations at the House of Lords in London and collaborated with the Department of Defense in USA. She was Coordinator of the nano-eco-toxicological Project of the Ministry of Defence of Italy called “VENAM”. She coordinated two EU research projects : Nanopathology and DIPNA (Nanotoxicity) and a national project called INESE (nanoecotoxicity). She was consultant for the nanotechnology research projects of Austria, Switzerland, Finland. 

She was appointed member of many organizations: ECOS (an NGO of the European Commission), of ISO, OECD and FAO/WHO organizations for the Nanotoxicology standards and acted as consultant for many Commissions of the European Commission. She is Author of 300 articles and of 4 books on Nanopathology: The Health Impact of Nanoparticles. Dr. Gatti has wide experience in SEM and an X-ray microprobe of an Energy Dispersive System to identify foreign bodies in nanopathological tissues. She was also a Lecturer in many world Universities (USA, Japan, Taiwan, Norway).
