Dean Fachon has a Bachelors Degree in English Literature from Colgate University and a Masters Degree in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He wrote technical publications for IBM and DEC, and is the author of The Grand Illusion a treatise on fiat money.
His wife, Wendy Nadherny Fachon, has a BA from Colgate and an MBA from the Tuck School. She writes for Natural Awakenings healthy living magazine and hosts an environmental podcast series called the Story Walking Radio Hour.
Their son, Neil, was a second-year engineering student at Northeastern University when he was diagnosed with DIPG brain stem cancer. This book, DIPG Eternal Hope Versus Terminal Corruption, is his story.
