HFDF Statement on Peaceful Protest

By July 23, 2021March 31st, 2022No Comments

Tomorrow, many people are participating in freedom events all over the world. Many of these events are being organized under the banner of World Wide Rally for Freedom 3.0. HFDF has received information from independent researchers suggesting some of these groups have been infiltrated by individuals agitating for violence.

HFDF wants to be very clear that we stand for freedom, we stand for choice, and we stand for the most basic of human rights, bodily autonomy.

HFDF also asserts that no person, business, institution, organization, or government has the right to force a person to put something into their body that they don’t want. If any of those entities have or claim that power, we are not free and we do not live in a decent, moral, or just society. As has been agreed by all free nations for decades, the practice of ethical medicine requires prior, voluntary informed consent. Period.

No matter how frustrating, depressing, or sad the situation we face may feel, HFDF does not support or condone violence of any kind and we encourage all our members, friends, and followers to attend these events in peace. We encourage everyone to stand up for their rights, but to do so peacefully and nonviolently.

We are living through unprecedented and challenging times but bear in mind Gandhi’s wise words, “Remember that all through history, there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seem invincible. But in the end, they always fall. Always.”

We will win in the end because we have truth and decency on our side, but we must do so in peace.
